Link Community Development (LCD) is a legally registered Civil Society Organisation (CSO) in Ghana since June, 1999. It started as a member of a family of organisations working to transform education for children across deprived rural communities through innovative, low-cost and replicable models. LCD Ghana, hence, operated in the first two decades of existence focusing primarily on improvement in quality of education in deprived rural communities.
The organisation’s main objective currently, transcends improvement in quality of education to include other programmes and interventions that empower individuals and communities to facilitate development. This it achieves through programmatic activities in the four key thematic areas it operates in. The thematic areas Environment, Enterprise Skills, Health & Social Care and Children, young people & Education.
